A Registered Nurse sustained a severe injury to the neck and left arm. Throughout the course of the claim, several consequential conditions were deemed causally related, and medical bills for these conditions have been and will continue to be covered in full. After obtaining awards for lost wages from the date of injury to the date of settlement totaling over $375,000, the claimant requested our office attempt to secure a settlement. Our office was successful in negotiating a buyout of the future lost wage payments for $425,000. Included in the resolution was a specific provision that allows this injured worker to have lifetime medical coverage for the many conditions covered in the claim pursuant to the medical treatment guidelines, drug formulary, and fee schedule.
